WHY THE EV IS NOT ORIGINALLY INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY?

This EV device is technically known as motor altitude compensator and it is simply an ecological valve that will allow proper airflow injection into the engine in order to compensate for the oxygen density loss as the altitude above sea level increases. It has shown to be very useful on geographies located above 800 meters and higher. This is quite true in Andean region countries like Colombia, where travel by road in general can face rough challenges. Driving could start in Bogota, the capital city located on highlands and abruptly descend to lower topographies, in less than an hour period. When exiting Bogotá, motorists are actually encountered with a 3,200-meter altitude drive-up, and then within the hour, they would face a drive down journey to reach their 200- meter above sea level destination. Those abrupt geographic changes are hardly seen anywhere in the world.

Furthermore, it is even harder to find such high metropolis on the planet as Bogota city, located at over 2,600 meters above sea level and whose streets hold an unparalleled vehicle density.

In Europe we can obviously refer to the Alps Mountains, but it is factual that 1,500 meter altitudes above sea level are rare and widely considered as snowy highland territories where travelers usually climb for tourist or sports oriented reasons. And most skiers would prefer to ride on the local cable car infrastructure (funiculars) instead of driving their cars all the way up. Nevertheless, in the event cars were used to reach the Alps ski resorts, people would usually park their vehicles for days before returning to their lowland homes. Cars would not be kept running constantly for transportation reasons up in the European Alps, as it is the case daily observed throughout the Bogota urban scenario.

Considering the above fact, we can conclude that Colombia´s topography poses unique challenges for automobile makers while global figures show that 99% of major vehicle manufacturers will usually design their car models to run at below 1,500-meters altitudes.

Given the issue of market size and development costs, it is clear that global car manufacturers are not ready to design specific models suitable just for the Colombian topography needs. That local market condition would be enough to understand the main rationale for local engineers to address the problem and start working on innovative tech solutions instead of waiting motionless for some distant foreign aid initiative.
